Leading IP Attorney Yao Guanyang Recognized for Third Consecutive Year in China's Top 50 Outstanding IP Lawyers List

Mr. Yao Guanyang, partner of Liu Shen Associates Law Firm, has been named as one of the top 50 outstanding IP lawyers in China for the third consecutive year by IPRdly and IPHouse, two prominent media outlets focusing on intellectual property issues.

Launched together by these two esteemed publications, this selection was based on data analyzed from over a million intellectual property judgment documents stored in IPHouse's database. A candidate list of more than 300 lawyers was narrowed down through this rigorous process to determine the top 50 most accomplished IP attorneys.

Since its inception, this event has attracted over 300 self-nominations through IPRdly and IPHouse's recommation channel; however, only around 200 lawyers made it onto the shortlist after undergoing data cleaning of more than a million documents. The final selection was made from these candidates by public voting on an online platform that received votes from over half a million participants, along with assessments from a jury comprising fifty prominent corporate counsel.

Mr. Yao Guanyang has been dedicated to providing legal services related to patents and trade secrets for many years now. He boasts extensive experience in handling complex cases of patent invalidation, infringement, administrative litigation, licensing negotiations on patents, trade secret disputes, IP due diligence, enterprise patent mapping, strategic consultation, and other areas.

In charge of the firm's litigation team, Mr. Yao has represented numerous well-known enterprises abroad and in China concerning patent-related issues spanning diverse industries such as new energy, construction ry, textile ry, dly necessities, sports equipment, software, communication devices, electronic products, household appliances, medical devices, among others. Many of his cases have been highlighted as exemplary by courts across multiple levels.
